Gait Lab

It can come as a big surprise, but many of the aches and pains that we suffer with, are caused by the way we walk – our gait.

If our gait is unbalanced, then we can be throwing out joints further up our bodies. In turn, we’re throwing our whole body out of balance. It’s not something that we’d normally think about as a cause of pain, walking just comes so naturally.

At our Henfield Clinic, we’ve invested in brilliant new technology that can analyse the way we walk. It’s known as gait analysis. The machinery looks how you’re placing your feet on the ground as you walk, and looks at how this affects the rest of your body.
